Phillies sloppiest lost yet last night

Happ beats his old team very handily last night in an embarrassing game for the Phils

Somehow the Phillies just didn't have it last night. It was one of their sloppiest games of the year as they lost 13-2 and making 4 errors on the night.

Where do these kind of games come from?

The Blue Jays seemed like they took batting practice on the Phillies last night, hitting 5 HR in the game. Phillies pitcher, Aaron Nola, gave up two HR, back to back, in the first inning alone. Nola got the loss and is now 5-6 on the year.

Pete Mackanin called a team meeting after the game, but a lot of this talk is just fluff. This team just doesn't have what it takes and it's not going to be a great team despite some brightness that it showed early on in the season.

The Phils slip to 7 games under .500 with the loss, and tonight Arizona comes to town for a Father's Day weekend series. Adam Morgan with his 1-5 record and 6.33 ERA takes the ball for the Phillies tonight. The Phils will face lefty Robbie Ray (3-5  4.57 ERA) for the Diamondbacks.

A pretty nice offer from MLB.tv this week with Father's Day in mind, the MLB.tv subscription is priced at $49.95 for the rest of the season.
