Papelbon losses game, gets tossed in process

Pap protests to no avail to the ump that saw his obscene gesture towards the stands after he was booed when he gave up the lead to the Marlins in the 9th

You never know what's going to happen in the world of Jonathan Papelbon.

He's kept somewhat under the radar in recent months, but that has all changed yesterday in Philadelphia after he blew the lead that the Phillies had, he walked off the mound to a round of boos and then made an obscene gesture into the stands (adjusted his cup demonstratively as he walked to the dugout).

Pap then got thrown out of the game, he protested to the ump who had no sympathy for him.

Paps been like a bad penny for the Phillies, he plays fairly well, but he's not worth the extra baggage.
