Approaching rain postpones home opener for 2014

The Phillies missed a chance for a sweep in Chicago yesterday afternoon. It wasn't do to lack of chances on the base paths, the team was just 1 for 15 in RISP. They had many opportunities to get plenty of runs in, but they didn't do it.

The home opener is postponed with a threat of rain that will be moving into the area later today. The new opener will be on Tuesday at 4:05 PM for the home stand that has the Milwaukee Brewers visiting CBP.

The Brewers blanked the Boston Red Sox yesterday 4-0, and a familiar name will face the Phillies when the rain finally clears out. Kyle Loshe, a former Phillies player, will face the Phillies on Tuesday afternoon.

Kyle Kendrick will get the ball for the Phillies for the Opener.
