Phils get ready to face the Braves to open season

Scouting the Braves 2013 season with Fox Sports South

The 7:05 PM matchup will be broadcast on WHPL's MyPHL17 channel in the Philadelphia area, which is great considering that fans with the Dish Network and Direct TV will be able to watch the Phillies play, as of now the Comcast Sports Network is not carried on either of the major satellite tv companies, so that is great that all the fans are going to be able to watch this game.

The game will also be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.

Comcast Sports Net will offer the most programming around the game tonight with this schedule for Opening Day:

Comcast SportsNet’s lineup for Opening Day includes “Phillies Focus,” “Daily News Live,” “SportsNite,” “Phillies Pregame Live,” and “Phillies Postgame Live.”

From ESPN Stats and Information:

Tim Hudson threw a sinker 47.2 percent of the time last season, the fourth-highest rate in the league. Last season, the Philadelphia Phillies batted .260 in at-bats ending in a sinker, the fourth-lowest average in the MLB.
