Ibanez helps Yankees win, Nationals have back against the wall

The Yankees just happened to do what they do best last night, win postseason baseball games. Former Phillie, Raul Ibanez, was the reason the Yankees won last night in the Bronx. He came through with not one but two clutch home runs to lead the Yankees to a victory in last night's game to go up to 2-1 in the series. Ibanez was dubbed "Mr October" as his second HR was the walk-off winner, and he sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Meanwhile down in Washington, it was the first playoff game there since 1933, but that didn't help the Nationals who ran into a stone wall with Chris Carpenter on the mound for the Cardinals. The Nats lost by a convincing 8-0 score and were never a threat. One more loss today, and they will be watching the postseason from home, as with one more win, the Cardinals will advance to the next round.

There is a game 5 of the Division Series today at 1 PM, it's do or die for the Giants and the Reds, whoever wins the game will advance.
