Pence starting to acquire leader presence

Hunter Pence got the game winning RBI last night in Atlanta as he placed a hit to right field and put the Phillies up 4-2 on the Atlanta Braves. Pence has only been a Phillie a short time, but he's made an impact.

Hunter's getting the job done, though as most who watch him play say, it isn't always pretty. Pence hacks at the plate at times. He's finally stepping from the newbie player on the Phillies to someone that you can count on to make things happen.

The Phils left Cole Hamels with a ND last night, his record remains at 3-1 on the season. The Phillies have been scoring for Hamels this season though, he is enjoying a run support of 5.40 going into last night's game in Atlanta.

Tonight in Atlanta, it's Roy Halladay vs Tommy Hanson for the Braves. Halladay is looking to reverse his last two starts which ended in losses. Roy's record  for 2012 so far is 3-2 with a 1.95 ERA.

Halladay is 4-1 with a 1.78 ERA against the Braves lifetime, his last start against the Braves was 7/8/2011 which ended in a ND for him.
