Phils drop 1 to Rockies, third game rained out

It’s on to Milwaukee for the Phils starting Friday night
The Phillies best chance to win is usually when Roy Halladay is pitching on the mound. Halladay was pitching on Wednesday afternoon in Game 1 of what was to be a day/night doubleheader. Halladay scattered 10 hits around during the game, and with a couple of errors by the Phillies, it didn’t add up to a victory this afternoon in chilly Denver.
Just the day before Mick Billmeyer, Phillies bullpen coach, was observed by Rockies television with binoculars in the bullpen. This rumor had been circulating for a while about the Phillies and sign stealing and though it is denied by Billmeyer, there isn’t many times you’ll see a bullpen coach looking through binoculars during a game though.
Rockies catcher, Miguel Olivo, almost single handedly beat the Phillies on this afternoon. He went 5-5 with a game winning homerun in the 10th.
The rained out game is to be rescheduled at a later date. The Rockies do come to Philly in July, so that may be the time for the reschedule.
The Phillies have the day off today, and then it’s Milwaukee for the weekend series in Milwaukee’s stadium called Miller Park.
