Two Games at CBP today and Stub Hub deals

The Phillies lost one last night in the 9th inning with a home run hit off of Ryan Madson. In the process, the team has slipped in the standings with the Marlins winning convincingly against the Marlins last night. I read somewhere where Charlie Manuel feels like the Phillies 'play down' to a team that they are playing against. That may be true when you look how bad the Marlins beat up on the Nationals last night winning 11-3. That kind of score is what the Phillies were supposed to be doing to the Nationals.

The lead in the NL East is now down to 5 with 22 more games to go. The Marlins can taste that they are in the hunt for the NL East division though, and they refuse to take anything less as they continue to play well against teams. The Marlins had just swept the Mets in New York before the Mets travelled down to Philly and the Marlins are winners in 8 of their last 11 games. The stage is really starting to look as though it's possible the Phillies season may come down to the last series in the regular season which is against the Marlins.

As bad as ticket gouging is on Stub Hub, the last couple games have seen a reverse in that notion. When tickets are pleniful on Stub Hub for a game it becomes a buyers market. The two games today have roughly over 2,100 tickets for each game available via Stub Hub still as I write this on Sunday morning. Tickets can be purchased below what they cost in situations like this, as people try to dump their tickets they can't use and not end up eating them. Infield and outfield seats are well below face value now on Stub Hub for the two games this afternoon and evening at Citizen's Bank Park. If you've never been out to the ball park yet, this may be your chance to see a game at a really great price.
