Ned Colletti is the GM of the LA Dodgers, his moves have been brilliant and it possibly is the reason that LA will be going to the playoffs and the Phillies may not. Colletti has brought in a lot of late moves that now sees Greg Maddux joining the team, and Manny already in place.
Pat 'Stand Pat' Gillick has done almost nothing, giving us Joe Blanton, a pitcher that isn't exactly going to bring any team into the playoffs let alone get a decent win under his belt against a team like the Nationals. I can sum it up very nicely. The Phillies are filling the ballpark, they are still in the race for the division but the pitching staff is anything but playoff ready. True, the offense has been costing the Phillies lately, but the pitchers don't do well against the better ballclubs like the Angels, Cubs, and NY Mets.
Jimmy Rollins gets the minor booing treatment tonight for tonight's game. That's right Philly fans go ahead and boo the 2007 MVP of the National League, that's great it ranks right up there with booing Santa. You've just showed why you 'the fans' get no respect from all around the country for booing your own players, I hope your happy!
